Limited mintage of 2,500, these Bald Eagle Colorized shaped silver coins are 2 troy oz of 99.99% fine silver.  Each coin is individually serialized by PAMP Suisse for the Solomon Islands and is legal tender.  This is the 4^th coin in the America The Free series.  The Founding Fathers of the US chose the Bald Eagle to be part of the national emblems in 1782 as a symbol of strength, determination, and honor. Previous editions of the series have featured the American Map Shaped coin, the Statue of Liberty and the Liberty Bell.

The reverse design stamps the Bald Eagle, depicted as flying with soaring wings. Its feathers are colored with the national flag’s stripes and stars, colored with its red-blue-white pattern. The eagle’s torso remained a monochromatic silver and received engravings that read “AMERICA THE FREE,” “2 OZ 999.9 AG,” standing for the series name and the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content.

The obverse is all covered with a pattern of stars. The inscription of the coin’s four-digit serial number is on top. Queen Elizabeth II’s effigy is encircled at the center, surrounded by “ELIZABETH II” and “SOLOMON ISLANDS.” The coin’s face value of “$5” is beneath it, followed by the year of issuance “2024.”
